TYSONS CORNER, VA, August 27, 2018 BAE Systems has entered into a partnership with computer software firm Flexera in an effort to provide government agencies a hybrid cloud environment built on the latter’s asset and license management technology and the federated cloud system that BAE jointly developed with Dell EMC, ExecutiveBiz reported Aug. 14.
The hybrid cloud environment aims to help agencies as they transition to the cloud in order to manage software licenses and plan information technology investments, BAE said Aug. 13.
“[We’re] helping government agencies rethink how they share data, analyze information and collaborate across their enterprises real-time while remaining consistent with strict governance and security requirements,” Peder Jungck, vice president and general manager of BAE’s intelligence solutions business, said regarding the BAE-Dell EMC federated secure cloud offering.
