TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 27, 2017 BAE Systems has unveiled a wireless sensor system based on the Bluetooth technology that works to assess the operational condition of military bridging platforms and determine the need for maintenance work, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said Tuesday the sensing tool serves to monitor stress, strain or fatigue of the bridging systems and provide information on their remaining service life via wireless transmission to a handheld device.
