BAE, Dell EMC Join Forces to Offer Hybrid Cloud to Govt. Clients; Al Whitmore, Steve Harris Comment

TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 26, 2018 ” BAE Systems and Dell EMC have established an alliance to offer a scalable hybrid cloud platform geared to support the federal government™s information technology modernization initiatives, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

BAE said Monday the Federated Secure Cloud is designed to give access to mission-critical tools and enable users to collaborate using common business applications.

Al Whitmore, president of the intelligence and security sector at BAE, said the cloud offering is designed as a pre-engineered platform that is equipped with security credentials required for operations in a government environment.

“Our Federated Secure Cloud arrives embedded with customizable Dell EMC and VMware technologies to meet an agency™s unique mission needs,” added Steve Harris, senior vice president and general manager of Dell EMC™s federal business.
