Joseph Gurney, formerly a senior adviser for fiscal stewardship at the Veterans Benefits Administration, has joined B3 Group as a director for the company’s professional services business.
He will oversee a portfolio of professional and infrastructure service offerings intended to support modernization projects at the Department of Veterans Affairs, the company said Tuesday.
His career includes various positions at The Ambit Group, Kaiser Associates, Grant Thornton and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Gurney holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from State University of New York College at Oswego and a master’s degree in finance and globalization from the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech.
