Joshua Isner, chief revenue officer at Axon (Nasdaq: AXON) for more than four years, has transitioned to the company’s newly created position of chief operating officer.
In his new role, Isner will support the office of Axon CEO and founder Rick Smith and will manage overall operational functions including policy execution and employee management, the Arizona-based public safety technology vendor said Thursday.
Isner initially joined Axon in 2009 as an associate in the Leadership Development Program and went on to serve in various leadership roles across the company, which include tenure as director of leadership development, vice president of video and cloud sales and EVP of global sales, according to his LinkedIn profile.
“Given his passion for our mission and ability to execute, I am eager to continue working with Josh in his expanded role, as our entire company builds the public safety ecosystem of the future,” Smith said.
