TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 2, 2018 Amazon Web Services has completed an independent assessment aimed at allowing Australian government agencies to self-accredit their protected data workloads in the cloud under the AWS Sydney region, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
AWS worked with the Australian defense departments signals directorate and underwent the Information Security Registered Assessors Program evaluation in an effort to gain certification to host protected-level workloads for the government, CRN reported Thursday.
The company added that it will offer 46 cloud services as well as provide government clients documentation to help customers evaluate its protected-level service offerings.
