TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 24, 2020 — Credence Management Solutions, a member of Amazon Web Services’ partner network in the public sector, helped the Defense Logistics Agency move five applications to the AWS GovCloud (US) platform, ExecutiveBiz reported Jan. 17.
AWS said Jan. 16 DLA and Credence completed the cloud migration of apps that had more than 300 terabytes of data within a 138-day period as part of the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment contract.
Dave Levy, vice president of the U.S. government business at AWS and a 2020 Wash100 winner, said the completion of the project ahead of schedule paves the way for similar GovCloud transitions of other DoD mission apps.
