Aware (Nasdaq: AWRE) reported $4.3 million in sales for the first quarter of 2023, up 6 percent from a quarter earlier, and attributed software subscription growth to a sequential improvement in the company’s recurring revenue.
The authentication software vendor said Tuesday it expects to log total revenue and annual recurring revenue growth of at least 15 percent for the full year.
In a subsequent conference call, Aware Chief Revenue Officer Craig Herman noted the company aims to expand its market reach through an enhanced enterprise sales strategy that includes multichannel partnerships for biometric authentication technology.
“We’re really focused on more fintech, mid-market, credit unions and banks, on the financial services side.”
Shares opened at $1.65 on Wednesday, at par with its previous close.
