Avion Closes Tennessee Valley Research Group Acquisition

Avion Solutions has acquired Tennessee Valley Research Group, or TVRG, to expand its ability to deliver innovative technologies and services to customers across the Department of Defense.

Avion said Thursday TVRG brings to the company its programmatic and technical expertise in tactical ballistic missile targets, laser technology systems and hypersonic weapons field testing.

“This acquisition marks another significant milestone in our growth strategy, reinforcing our commitment to providing comprehensive solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers,” Wagner added.

Delivering Defense Tech to Warfighters

Established in 1992, Avion Solutions is an employee-owned aerospace and defense company that supports warfighters by providing aerospace engineering, airworthiness, systems engineering, logistics, integrated product support, modeling and simulation and programmatic services for DOD.

In March 2024, the company acquired Synectic Research & Analysis to broaden its testing and simulation capabilities.
