Ava Hahn
Ava Hahn, formerly general counsel at venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, has been appointed by CA Technologies (Nasdaq: CA) to succeed the departing Michael Bisignano as executive vice president, corporate secretary and general counsel.
Hahn will oversee corporate governance and compliance, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, litigation, intellectual property and other legal operations at CA as well as provide legal guidance to the software firms board of directors and senior management, the company said Wednesday.
Ava is exceptionally qualified to lead our legal team as we continue to transform CA and seize the big opportunities that exist in the application economy, said CA CEO Mike Gregoire.
Her extensive legal background in the technology sector and her years of experience in Silicon Valley and beyond make her a very strong addition to our leadership team, Gregoire added.
Prior to KPCB, Hahn worked at Felicis Ventures as a general counsel and partner.
Her more than 15-year career as a legal strategy leader included time as general counsel and secretary at Aruba Networks, Genesis Microchip and ShoreTel.
