Upchurch is a seasoned executive with deep expertise in federal government consulting. Before her promotion, Upchurch served as CTEC vice president for 10 months, overseeing the expansion and delivery of services within the Department of Homeland Security.
The executive spent nearly 11 years at LMI, most recently as VP of homeland security, where she was also responsible for overseeing the delivery of LMI’s offerings to federal clients within the Homeland Security sector. She also served as director of infrastructure, energy and environment, program manager and consultant for environmental programs.
Upchurch had a brief five-month stint at Leidos as an environmental analyst, where she managed the National Environmental Policy Act compliance of various government agencies and other organizations. She joined SAIC in 2007 as an environmental analyst before transitioning to Leidos after it split into two companies.
Earlier in her career, the CTEC executive worked for Organizational Strategies, Inc., the Loudoun County government and the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service.
