TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 11, 2018 The U.S. Air Force has signed a five-year agreement with AT&T (NYSE: T) to help advance the use of modern technology at the service branch by sharing industry best practices about internet of things, cybersecurity and other innovations to the Air Force Academy, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
AT&T said Thursday the Cooperative Research and Development Agreement works to allow the company to conduct demonstrations for academy cadets; share knowledge about software-defined networking, smart base and 5G technologies; as well as help the Air Force identify technology needs.
