“Collaboration is accelerated when teams are able to use the tools that work best for them,” Straub wrote in an article published on Carahsoft.com
He discussed how Atlassian Open DevOps built on Jira Software enables tool diversity.
“By allowing teams to keep and optimize their hybrid toolchains across multiple vendors, Open DevOps gives teams freedom of choice without sacrificing collaboration,” Straub noted.
“Teams can focus on building and operating software while Open DevOps integrates Atlassian and partner tools automatically,” he added.
Straub cited the need for agencies to transform their work culture to promote collaboration and innovation and mentioned some of the tools Atlassian offers to facilitate collaboration, including Jira Software, OpsGenie, Bitbucket, Confluence and Jira Work Management.
He also mentioned how the company helps agencies eliminate silos and automate the DevSecOps environment through its tools.
“The ability to collaborate effectively, capture and share knowledge, and execute against stakeholder requirements is easier when teams have the freedom of tool choice with a powerful core that connects everything and everybody in a secure and productive way,” Straub wrote.
