AT&T Awarded $145M Under VA Enterprise Mobile Devices & Services Recompete

AT&T (NYSE: T) has received a potential $145.3 million contract under the second iteration of the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Enterprise Mobile Devices and Services program.

VA announced the award to AT&T’s mobility national accounts business through a notice published Wednesday on SAM.gov.

Verizon (NYSE: VZ) and T-Mobile USA (Nasdaq: TMUS) also won EMDS follow-on contracts worth approximately $683.7 million combined from VA.

Under EMDS 2, the vendors will provide cellular and wireless devices and services in support of VA medical centers, community-based outpatient clinics, field and program offices and remote users across the U.S. and other sites abroad.

The potential nine-year EMDS recompete contract covers the delivery of voice, text and data services and calls for the contractor to provide tools, materials, labor, management support and equipment to perform all contract requirements.
