GovCIO received recognition from the Association for Corporate Growth’s National Capital chapter for notable company accomplishments in 2022 such as achieving a 25 percent annual revenue increase and booking $1.3 billion in contracts.
The Fairfax, Virginia-based IT contractor said Tuesday it won ACG National Capital’s Corporate Growth Company Award in the over $250 million category.
Government CIO was purchased by private equity firm Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe in 2020 and rebranded as GovCIO in 2022. Its organic revenue exceeded $840 million last year.
Aside from the company’s transformation, ACG also based the award on its book-to-bill ratio of 2.2 since August 2021.
The IT services provider was nominated for the ACG Deal of the Year award last year on account of its acquisition of software company Salient CRGT.
