What Is the Scope of the ASRC Federal’s ChemPol Contract?
The Department of Defense said Wednesday, under the firm-fixed-price long-term contract, the Fairfield, New Jersey-based company will support multiple military services, including the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Space Force, along with federal civilian agencies. ASRC Federal assumed responsibility for the ChemPol program after acquiring SAIC’s logistics and supply chain management business for about $350 million in 2023.
What Are the Other Key Details of the DLA Contract?
The agreement features a five-year base period, followed by two option periods: one for three years and another for two years. If all options are exercised, the contract will run through Oct. 14, 2030. Work will be funded through fiscal year 2026 to 2031 defense capital working funds. The award was issued as a sole-source by DLA Aviation in Richmond, Virginia, on Oct. 15.
