Jay Jones, a retired U.S. Army colonel who supported the service’s Information Systems Software Center, has joined HighPoint as chief growth officer, responsible for spearheading efforts to expand the presence of the company’s digital services in the federal market.
Jones’ military career includes work for the Office of the Directorate for Information Systems, Command, Control, Communications and Computers; and operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, the company said Monday.
Ben Lanius, CEO of HighPoint, said Jones brings experience in implementing business strategies and leading teams to align with goals.
HighPoint works with government agencies to help them integrate technologies, processes and human resources into services. The company’s work encompasses training, agile development, contact centers and data services.
