Six companies have won positions on a potential five-year, $48 million contract to provide temporary physician staffing services to the U.S. Army.
The Army Medical Command received 14 bids for the shared firm-fixed-price contract via an online solicitation and will provide funds and performance locations upon the issuance of each order, the Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday.
Contractors will recruit physicians from various medical specialties to provide healthcare services at the Army’s medical treatment facilities within the continental U.S.
Work will run through Jan. 31, 2022, according to DoD.
