Army Seeks Industry Feedback on Joint Mission Management Tech Replacement Plan

The U.S. Army is seeking input from vendors on the service branch’s plan to replace its legacy suite of tools and interfaces that offer military personnel a detailed view of the battlespace during the joint target cycle

In a request for information notice posted Monday, the Army said it wants to gain insight on approaches industry may take to address requirements for a planned effort to replace the Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System.

The branch dubbed the potential JADOCS replacement as the Joint Targeting Command and Coordination System and noted that it expects a future JTC2S to provide a fire support management capability for joint, coalition and echelon missions with the use of target intelligence databases.

JTC2S is envisioned to help users integrate target data into a single federated user interface.

Responses to the RFI notice are due Aug, 18.
