The U.S. Army is soliciting comments on a draft request for proposals for a potential 10-year, $900 million contract to enable the service to advance modernization priorities, operationalize science and pursue innovation to strengthen capabilities for multidomain operations.
The Army Modernization Priorities program is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a base term of five years and a five-year optional ordering period, according to a presolicitation notice posted Friday.
The AMP IDIQ contract seeks to enable the military branch and other joint warfighter partners to achieve MDO overmatch capabilities through rapid prototyping, experimentation, analytics and technology insertion/integration.
The contract also covers research and development activities in support of the Army Reserch Laboratory, Department of Defense and other federal agencies, including applied research, advanced technology development, demonstration and validation and operational systems development.
The Army will hold a virtual industry day on March 17 and interested stakeholders should submit request for participation no later than March 10.
Comments and questions on the draft RFP are due March 3.
