Army Picks Dobco for $138M Contract to Build Cyber & Engineering Academic Center

Wayne, New Jersey-based construction firm Dobco will help the U.S. Army build West Point's cyber and engineering academic center under a potential four-year, $137.8M contract.

The Army Corps of Engineers received four bids for the firm-fixed-price contract via the internet and obligated the full amount at the time of award, the Department of Defense said Friday.

DoD expects the company to finish work by Dec. 4, 2024.

According to West Point, the 136K-square-foot center will be built to consolidate engineering laboratory functions at the military academy's civil and mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer science and systems engineering departments under one facility.
