Army Awards $1.6B Fort Detrick Energy Services Contract

A Chevron-Keenan Development partnership secured a potential 30-year, $1.60B contract to provide energy services at a U.S. Army installation in Frederick, Md.

The Department of Defense said Wednesday it expects Keenan Fort Detrick Energy LLC to complete services under the firm-fixed-price contract by March 31, 2049.

Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command received one bid for the requirement via an online-based solicitation.
