The U.S. Army has awarded 13 companies positions on a potential five-year, $249 million contract for architect and engineering services.
The Department of Defense said Friday the service branch launched an internet solicitation and received 13 offers for the firm-fixed-price contract.
The Army Corps of Engineers in Mobile, Alabama, will determine work locations and funding upon award of each order and expects work to run through April 10, 2030.

In late December, the Army selected 12 companies to compete for architect and engineering support orders under the $249 million contract.
