Angeline Chen — formerly vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer of Marinette Marine Corp. — has taken up the same roles at Siemens U.S. federal government subsidiary.
Chen will oversee all legal, contracting and compliance activities of Siemens Government Technologies and also act as SGTs corporate secretary, Siemens said Thursday.
Barbara Humpton, SGTs president and CEO an an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2016, said the company intends to utilize Chens defense and government contracting background to drive its efforts in the U.S. federal government sector.
Chen also served as corporate secretary, ethics officer and board member of MMC, where she was responsible for the companys litigation, governance and compliance requirements.
She also led MMCs ethics program, corporate communications, the office in Washington and the information technology and security departments.
A practicing lawyer specializing in antitrust and technology-related litigation, Chen served as the deputy associate general counsel for information security at the National Security Agency and assistant general counsel of the International Telecommunications Satellite Organization.
Chen is a critical infrastructure protection and homeland security fellow at George Mason University.
