Terry started her career in 2015 when she co-founded Adranos, a manufacturing company focused on solid rocket motors and solid rocket fuel. She served as its chief technical officer for eight years before Adranos was acquired by Anduril in 2023.
The acquisition paved the way for Terry to join the defense technology contractor. She initially served as senior director of rocket motor systems before becoming its general manager. After almost a year in the said role, Terry assumed her new position.
Anduril planned to expand its solid rocket motor supply capabilities through its purchase of Adranos.
“With this acquisition, Anduril will grow the defense industrial base, speed development and production of critical components with an advanced manufacturing approach, and enable next-generation performance of solid rocket motors with ALITEC, which is crucial for national security and overall health of the defense industry,” Brian Schimpf, co-founder and CEO of Anduril, said following the purchase completion.
