Andrew Matuch to Lead LexisNexis’ Reed Tech Business, Takes Managing Director Role

Andrew Matuch, a professional with more than two decades of business development experience, has been named managing director of government, intellectual property and life sciences at LexisNexis Risk Solutions™ legal and professional practice.

Matuch will serve on the global leadership team and lead the company™s Reed Tech information services company in his new role, Reed Tech said Tuesday.

Most recently, Matuch served as chief strategy officer for LexisNexis™ parent company RELX Group with responsibility over strategy development across RELX™s business areas. He also led centers of excellence in customer analytics, innovation, lean product development and pricing in this role.

He previously served as executive vice president for global strategy and business development for the Legal & Professional arm where he helped drive its legal analytics and mergers and acquisitions strategy.

Mike Walsh, CEO of LexisNexis Legal & Professional, said Matuch™s understanding of the firm™s clients and markets will support efforts to deliver information-based analytics offerings that will help customers improve productivity and decision-making.

Prior to joining RELX in 2012, Matuch worked at OC&C Strategy Consultants, Endeca and Greenwich Strategy.
