Booz Allen Vet Amy Norgren Salfi Joins Excel Technologies as Chief Strategy Officer

Amy Norgren Salfi, formerly a principal at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), has been named chief strategy officer of Herndon, Virginia-based information technology and management services provider Excel Technologies.

She will report directly to Excel CEO Debra Yamanaka and be responsible for helping shape the direction of the woman-owned small business, the company said Wednesday.

Norgren Salfi previously led Booz Allen’s businesses focused on the departments of Homeland Security and the Interior and the Environmental Protection Agency.

Her service at the government consulting services contractor lasted for more than 33 years.
