Amy Hopkins Joins Peraton as VP, General Manager of National Security Space

Amy Hopkins, a defense and intelligence industry veteran, has been appointed vice president and general manager for national security space within Peraton‘s space and intelligence sector.

“Excited to lead this team and looking forward to working with my space and national security colleagues across the community,” Hopkins wrote in a LinkedIn post published Friday.

In her new role, Hopkins will oversee a unit that offers space products, systems and technical services to national and defense intelligence agencies.

She most recently served as VP and general manager of Capella Space‘s U.S. government services arm.

Before Capella, she held senior director roles at Boeing‘s (NYSE: BA) Phantom Works subsidiary and Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC).

Hopkins held various positions at the U.S. Pacific Command, the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Defense Intelligence Agency earlier in her career.
