Amy Barzdukas, formerly vice president of global solutions marketing at Polycom, has been promoted to executive vice president and chief marketing officer of the San Jose, California-based communications technology provider.
Polycom said Monday the 20-year industry veteran has led the companys alliance marketing, product and services marketing and sales enablement teams over the past two years.
She is now part of a new executive lineup that includes Polycom CEO Mary McDowell, Chief Human Resources Officer Billie Hartless and Solutions Management EVP Tarun Loomba.
“Amy brings a depth of experience across the marketing disciplines and a passion for customers, technology and for evangelizing the Workplace of the Future,” McDowell said.
Before Polycom, she was VP of worldwide marketing at Hewlett-Packard‘s business personal systems group and held various marketing leadership and general manager roles during her 16-year career at Microsoft (NYSE: MSFT).
