Hussein and DePietro announced their appointments through LinkedIn posts published Tuesday.
Hussein has been with Lockheed since 2009 and held roles of increasing responsibility, including program manager, executive program director for the Middle East and program director for land and territory training solutions. He previously worked at Baker Hughes and United Space Alliance.
He succeeds DePietro, who will be responsible for leading C6ISR, or the command, control, communications, computers, cyber defense and combat systems and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance team at Lockheed.
DePietro, a U.S. Navy veteran, has been with the Bethesda, Maryland-based aerospace and defense contractor for 10 years and will bring to the role his decades of experience as he leads a team responsible for advancing joint all-domain operations.
