Amanda Axsom, executive vice president of business development at Halfaker and Associates over the past three years, has elevated to the chief development officer role at the Arlington, Va.-based technology services provider.
She will oversee intellectual property development, corporate growth and strategic capture efforts in her new position, the the company said Tuesday.
Halfaker credited her with leading capture on its key bids that have directly supported contract awards worth more than $1B.
Axsom previously worked for Phase One Consulting Group as a director and helped establish the firm's federal health portfolio as well as led its health market-focused capture, business development and strategy functions.
