Alion Science and Technology has secured a potential $74.7M contract from the U.S. Navy to provide professional support services to Naval Sea Systems Command 21.
The company will help NAVSEA’s surface warfare directorate manage key programs and support planning and readiness, financial, engineering and logistics activities, the Defense Departmentsaid Monday.
SEA 21 oversees the life cycle management of U.S. naval surface ships and systems.
The contract has a $49.8M initial value over a one-year base period that runs through September 2019 and work will take place in Washington, D.C.
