Alion Science and Technology has secured a potential five-year, $75M task order for technical support services to U.S. Air Force directorates that oversee weapon systems for the service branch's fighter and bomber aircraft platforms.
The company said Wednesday it will assist the fighters and advanced aircraft and bombers directorates within the AF Life Cycle Management Center in crafting strategies to procure, maintain, secure and update weapons.
McLean, Va.-based Alion seeks to help the branch further develop its systems development and acquisition planning approaches across research, development, test, evaluation, procurement, deployment and sustainment efforts.
The AF Installation Contracting Agency issued the order under the Department of Defense Information Analysis Center Multiple-Award contract.
