Michael Boera
Michael Boera, a retired U.S. Air Force major general, has joined Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) as a vice president and a strategic account executive at the Reston, Va.-based information technology services contractor.
The company said Tuesday Boera aims to expand the company’s business relationships with the military service and brings more than 20 years of planning and operations experience to his new position.

“Mike understands the Air Force and he understands how emerging technologies enable their mission,” said Gerry Fasano, executive VP and chief of business development and strategy at Leidos.
Boera most recently served as director of business development for the mission support and modernization mission area at Raytheon‘s (NYSE: RTN) intelligence, information and services sector.
At USAF, he led the development and integration of the service branch’s programs across the Future Years Defense Plan and managed its corporate structure process.
He has logged approximately 5,600 flying hours and 200 combat missions during his military career.
