Garry Dean, a retired U.S. Air Force major general and a member of the board of advisers at Peduzzi Associates, has been appointed president of the Alexandria Virginia-based business development services provider in a move slated to take effect Oct. 1.
He has served on the advisory board over the past four years and will succeed Pete Peduzzi, who will transition to a new role as chairman of the company he established in 1995, Peduzzi Associates said.
Dean’s more than three-decade aerospace career has included time as deputy chief of staff for operations at NATO Joint Force Command, commander of the 1st Air Force and director of the National Guard Bureau Joint Staff.
He worked at Delta as an international airline captain after his retirement from military service in 2015.
