The U.S. Air Force‘s Sixth Contracting Squadron plans to accept design-build bids from small businesses for a potential $500M indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
USAF said in a FedBizOpps posted Thursday it could issue a formal solicitation notice by Feb. 15 to support construction projects at MacDill AF Base and Avon Park AF Range in Florida.
Services under the multiple-award contract will include repair and alteration to infrastructure at the two military installations.
A selected contractor will provide labor, equipment and materials and may also build new facilities.
The IDIQ has a one-year base period, six one-year options and an additional six-month extension. The value for each task order may range between $200K and $5M.
