Eight companies have secured a $750 million ceiling increase modification under a U.S. Air Force contract to continue providing advisory and assistance services to help the service branch’s deputy leadership manage and improve enterprise-level strategic transformation initiatives.
The modification brings the total value of the Air Force Strategic Transformation Support indefinite-quantity/indefinite-delivery contract to $2.75 billion and extends support to the deputy chief management officer and the deputy assistant secretary of the Office of Business Transformation, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The Air Force intends to launch a full-and-open competition for the new contract vehicle, which may cover the development and use of IT products and services to help agencies address their transformational needs.
