Under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, GDIT will provide the USAF with material readiness and operational performance requirements, among other tasks, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
The Falls Church, Virginia-based company will work on the contract at various locations, including the National Capital Region, Hawaii, Florida, the United Kingdom and other sites overseas, with completion expected in December 2035.
A $5 million fiscal 2025 operation and maintenance allocation is being obligated at the time of the award initiated by the Secretary of the Air Force’s concepts, development and management unit in, Fairfax, Virginia.
Air Force Security Contract
In another deal, GDIT announced in September that it cornered all initial task orders on a $4.5 billion Department of the Air Force security support services IDIQ contract expected to start on Friday. The services that GDIT will provide include communications security, counterintelligence analysis and cybersecurity reviews.
The tasks’ specific valuations were not disclosed because confidential programs are involved. The contract, which was initially awarded in February 2021, provides a five-year base period and a five-year extension option. GDIT booked the deal after the Government Accountability Office resolved the protests of competing bidders.
