Boeing (NYSE: BA) has received a four-year, $478.8 contract from the U.S. Air Force to engineer, manufacture and develop an electronic warfare system for the F-15 aircraft.
The Defense Departmentsaid Thursday the contract covers planning, design development, integration, testing and risk reduction activities for the F-15 Eagle Passive/Active Warning and Survivability System program.
Work will occur in St. Louis, Missouri through Aug. 31, 2020.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center will obligate $78.2 million in fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation funds at the time of award.
