The U.S. Air Force has awarded firm-fixed-price contracts with a cumulative value of $300 million to six companies to provide construction services for a military installation in New Jersey.
The Department of Defense said Wednesday the six contractors selected for the project are:
FBSG-GForce of Norristown, Pennsylvania
Ranco Construction of Southampton, NJ
Eastern Construction of Wrightstown, NJ
Kaser Mechanical of Burlington, NJ
Ritz Construction of Frederick, Maryland
Benaka of New Brunswick, NJ
Multiple Award Construction Contract Details
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple award contract covers the procurement of plant, labor, equipment, tools, supplies and materials necessary to provide construction services, including replacement, repair and improvement work, at the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.
According to the notice posted on SAM.gov, the contract encompasses site preparation, including excavation and earthwork and infrastructure and utilities development such as water distribution, storm drainage, sanitary sewer systems and electrical and telecommunication systems.
The work also includes structural and building construction like cast-in-place concrete, masonry, structural steel, framing, roofing, carpentry and millwork, as well as site development activities such as paving the site work, road, parking lot and airfield. Finishing work such as painting, plumbing, installation of mechanical systems as well as abatement and removal of asbestos and lead paint are also covered in the contract.
The Multiple Award Construction Contract will run through Sept. 18, 2032. The 87th Contracting Squadron at the JB MDL will handle the contract.
