Aerospace Corp. has received an $844.3 contract modification from the U.S. Air Force to provide systems engineering and integration support to the national space community.
The modification exercises an option on a previously awarded contract and the company will perform work in El Segundo, California through Sept. 30, 2017, the Defense Departmentsaid Thursday.
The Space and Missile Systems Center has not obligated funds at the the time of award.
Aerospace Corp. supports national security space programs through technical and specific research, development and advisory services, as well as manages a federally funded research and development center for the Air Force’s space and missile systems center and the National Reconnaissance Office.
