AE Industrial Partners has acquired AC&A, a manufacturer of composite and metallic parts and tooling for the aerospace, defense, space and automotive markets.
The private investment firm said Thursday the deal follows AEI’s purchase of Belcan, an engineering project management and technical staffing company, and Kellstrom Materials, a parts support and supply chain management provider for airlines and air transport operators.
AC&A CEO and COO Justin Uchida said the acquisition seeks to build on the company’s business growth with current and new clients.
David Rowe, AEI managing partner, added that AC&A’s market segments show potential for growth and that AC&A works to offer consolidated services for design, development and fabrication needs.
Kirkland & Ellis and the Law Office of Ron R. Goldie served as legal adviser while PwC and Janes Capital Partners served as financial adviser to AEI and AC&A, respectively.
AEI is a Florida-based private equity investor for aerospace, power generation and specialty industrial markets.
