Adam Lurie, a two-decade information technology and services market veteran, has joined artificial intelligence company Torch.AI as chief strategy officer.
He will be responsible for helping drive the company’s expansion initiatives in multiple customer segments and overseeing its corporate development functions, Torch.AI said Thursday.
Lurie most recently served as president of the federal government solutions business at risk management services provider Exiger and CEO of professional services firm Convergent before it was sold to Exiger in August 2019.
His career also includes prior leadership roles at General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology business, Haystax Technology, Social Intelligence and USIS.
Torch.AI hired Lurie after the AI-based data processing platform vendor acquired The DataTech Group in a move to grow its presence at the Department of Defense.
