Digital services company Ad Hoc has acquired Cascades Technologies for an undisclosed sum as part of efforts to expand its technological capabilities in support of federal agency customers.
“Today, we’re taking another step toward expanding what we can offer the federal government so that we can have an even larger impact on how the government builds and operates digital services,” Greg Gershman, co-founder, CEO and board chair of Ad Hoc, said in a blog entry posted Tuesday.
“The team from Cascades brings experience in data analytics, compliance processes, and help desk support. They also have engineering, mobile development, and bilingual UX experience that will augment and expand Ad Hoc’s existing capabilities,” he noted.
Herndon, Virginia-based Cascades Technologies is a federal information technology company focused on providing consulting support in such areas as IT governance and enterprise architecture as well as cloud computing, application development, systems integration, program management and other IT services to government clients.
Gershman added that the acquisition also provides Ad Hoc access to contracts at regulatory and financial agencies, the Department of Labor and the General Services Administration.
