TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 22, 2020 — Vince Vlasho, a senior managing director and defense portfolio lead at Accenture Federal Services, said AFS' previous work with the U.S. Air Force on the Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System has helped position the company to assist USAF in building a cloud-based common enterprise resource planning system.
He told ExecutiveBiz in an interview posted Oct. 5 that AFS will apply its commercial technology platforms to the branch's cloud migration project.
Vlasho also cited artificial intelligence and robotic process automation as among the emerging areas in the government market where he is seeing a demand for and observed defense agencies looking to commercial products to accelerate information technology modernization efforts.
