Samantha Young, former strategic initiatives lead for safety and citizen services portfolio at Accenture's (NYSE: ACN) federal arm, has joined Steampunk as vice president of sales, G2Xchange FedCiv reported Friday.
She brings two decades of sales and business development experience to her position at the information technology services provider.
Her career at Accenture Federal Services has also included roles as senior manager for strategic growth within its Department of Homeland Security business area and a business development director focused on safety and citizen services.
She also served as account executive for the DHS and Department of Justice sectors at Agilex Technologies, which AFS acquired in 2015 to expand digital service offerings in the federal market.
