Mac Curtis, a seasoned executive with nearly four decades of government contracting market experience, was honored by the National Capital Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America with its Technology Good Scout Award in May 2019.
Aside from being a model recipient for the award, Curtis built his career and reputation as a visionary leader who helped transform Perspecta into one of the leading players in the federal information technology and mission services market. He led Perspecta from June 2018 to May 2021, when the company was sold to Veritas Capital for $7.1 billion in cash, and has served as chairman at Cubic Corp. since the start of 2022.
Curtis has also been recognized seven times in the annual Wash100 list of GovCon’s most elite faces and voices. GovCon Wire featured him as part of Executive Mosaic media group’s coverage of Good Scouts who were recognized for their influence in the Greater Washington tech sector and demonstration of scouting values.
The BSA National Capital Area Council’s 2022 award luncheon event is scheduled to take place on Nov. 2 at the Tysons Corner Marriott hotel in Virginia to honor Doug Wagoner, president and CEO of LMI.
