Six small businesses have secured positions on a $298.3 million multiple-award contract to augment and back up the Federal Aviation Administration’s automated weather observation system at U.S. airports.
FAA categorized work into 11 areas across 135 Contract Weather Observation Program locations nationwide, according to a notice posted Friday on SAM.gov.
The awardees and their respective contract details are listed below:
Alaska Weather Operations Services, Inc.: Areas 9 and 11: $24 million
Condor Reliability Services: Areas 1 and 3: $60.2 million
Diversified Management Solutions: Areas 4 and 7: $67.4 million
Midwest Weather Inc.: Areas 5 and 10: $43.3 million
Pacific Weather Inc.: Area 8: $25.5 million
Vero Technical Support: Areas 2 and 6: $77.8 million
The small business set-aside contract has a one-year base period and four option years.
