3 Companies Win Spots on $900M DLA Metal Product Supply IDIQ

The Defense Logistics Agency has awarded three companies positions on a $900 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to supply various types of commercial metal products to U.S. military branches as part of DLA’s Metals Tailored Logistics Support program.

DLA received six responses for the competitive acquisition program and set an ordering period end date of July 22, 2023, the Department of Defense said Friday.

SupplyCore, I-Solutions Direct and TW Metals will compete for delivery orders to provide aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, copper, brass and other industrial items to the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps.

The IDIQ award has a two-year base period along with 18-month options. Work performance will occur inside and outside of the continental U.S.

DOD noted that contract funds will come from fiscal year 2021 through fiscal 2023 defense working capital appropriations.
