10 Companies Win Spots on Potential $178M IDIQ to Support Navy Information Warfare Center Systems

The U.S. Navy has chosen 10 companies for a potential five-year, $178.4 million contract vehicle to help the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific manage, engineer and secure information technology systems.

The cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a $76.4 million initial award covering three base years and will reach its maximum value if all options are exercised, the Department of Defense announced Friday.

Contractors will support NIWC in various life cycle phases, including programming, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, documentation and training, supply and logistics, and maintenance. They will also perform engineering, configuration management, testing and evaluation of hardware, software, networks and the rest of the systems.

Financing will be obligated from the branch’s research, development, test, and evaluation, operation and maintenance, and other procurement funds. Support services will also be funded using foreign military sales proceeds and working capital appropriations from the Department of Defense.
